Each speaker will have 15 minutes available (including questions and discussion). Please, prepare your presentation in MS Office PowerPoint for Windows or as a PDF and bring it on a USB memory stick.
Poster boards are situated in the foyer of the congress venue. You should install your poster after registration. The list of posters can be downloaded here
3rd Arachnological Games with BBQ
The games will take place behind the dormitory (given favourable weather). Teams composed of 5 players will compete for the Arachnological Cup! Participants not wanting to play are invited to support the players. We will play Kubb ("The King's Game"). Teams must register during the first two days of the congress at the registration desk with a team name. BBQ and beer will be provided following the games at an extra price (10 EUR).
The Sunday Welcome Mixer will include soft drinks and a light meal. You are welcomed to bring food and/or drink contributions from your home country to the Russian Party.
IUCN Red Listing Workshop
We will meet with the workshop participants on August 22nd at 8.30 in the foyer of the congress venue – Faculty of Economics and Administration (Lipová 41a, coordinates 49.193434, 16.577411).

We are pleased to announce the winners of student grants. PENSOFT sponsorship program for young arachnologists was awarded to Orsolya Beleznai (Hungary). GIA student grant was awarded to Jesus Hernandez Corral (Spain). CAS grant was awarded to Antonin Kurka.

We are sorry to announce that due to low number of pre-registered participants, the Experimental design and modern data analysis workshop will not take place.

April 30th was the deadline for pre-registration for the two workshops. So far 8 participants have registered for the Experimental design and modern data analysis which is below the minimum number of participants (10). I ask those who are interested in attending this workshop to pre-register on the website or by sending me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) before May 15, 2015. We will then make a decision whether the workshop will take place.
As for the other workshop, IUCN Red Listing – concepts and tools, 11 people have pre-registered which is near to the maximum number of participants. The last four positions are available. Please, pre-register as soon as possible on the website or by sending me an email (email@example.com).
Arachnid Film Competition
We are pleased to announce the Arachnid Film Competition to take place during the congress. The films should portray interesting concepts in arachnid behavior. Both amateur (non-commercial) and professional (commercial) films produced in the preceding five years can be shown. Films should be less than 5 min long, mute or in English. Applicants should send a short description of the film to Stano Pekar (firstname.lastname@example.org) before July 31, 2015.
May 31, 2015 is the deadline for student grants and submission of abstracts.
