Travel to Brno

Brno is situated about 200 km southeast of Prague and about 130 km north of Vienna.

BY AIR

There are direct flights from London, Moscow, and Eindhoven to Brno Airport. Otherwise it is recommended to fly to Vienna International Airport in Austria, Prague (Václav Havel) International Airport in the Czech Republic or Bratislava International Airport in Slovakia and take a train or bus to get to Brno (see below).

BY RAIL

Brno is one of the most important Central European rail junctions situated on international routes. Czech Railways operate fast IC, EC trains between Vienna, Prague, Bratislava and Brno. There is a train every hour or two.

BY BUS

Student Agency operates a direct bus connection from airports or city centres of Vienna and Prague to Brno (Hotel Grand in the city centre). There is a bus every hour or two.

BY CAR

Brno is situated on the intersection of the D1 (Prague – Brno) and D2 (Brno – Bratislava) motorways.
